Speed camera locations

These are the fixed and mobile speed camera locations the Traffic Police itself has published as open data — not a crowdsourced list. Every row below is a row the source carries; nothing is estimated, and the page says clearly what the two datasets do not cover.

TWO NAMED DATASETS

Published by the Traffic Police itself, not compiled from reports

Every location below comes from one of two datasets the Singapore Police Force itself publishes as open data — nothing here is crowdsourced, and nothing is estimated from news coverage.

Singapore Police Force publishes two open datasets of its own speed-enforcement cameras: fixed cameras, and mobile cameras. Both are fetched directly from the publisher and rendered here in full — 20 fixed locations and 3 mobile locations, 23 rows in total, with nothing added and nothing left out. The road and the direction a camera faces come straight from the dataset; so do the coordinates.

What this page does not cover

Red-light cameras are a separate SPF dataset and are not included here — this page is speed enforcement only. An average-speed (section-control) camera system is known to exist at Tanah Merah, but no dataset for it could be independently confirmed at the time this page was built, so no row for it is invented. ERP road-pricing gantries are not speed cameras and are not listed. Cameras operated by the Land Transport Authority, HDB or URA are not part of either SPF dataset and are not listed either.

FIXED SPEED CAMERAS — 20 LOCATIONS

Fixed speed cameras

SPF-owned fixed enforcement cameras. Every row is one feature from the source dataset — none omitted.

MOBILE SPEED CAMERAS — 3 LOCATIONS

Mobile speed cameras

A mobile camera is, by definition, a device the Traffic Police can move. Read the note below before treating this list as current.

DATED DATA

Every row in both datasets carries the same internal record date: 30 December 2016

Both dataset pages show a recent “last updated” stamp, but that is the publishing platform’s own metadata check-in, not a claim that camera locations changed. Every one of the 23 rows on this page carries the identical internal record timestamp the source system itself uses — 30 December 2016 — with no exceptions. For a fixed camera that is a reasonable staleness risk. For a mobile camera, whose entire purpose is to relocate, a list unchanged since 30 December 2016 is a poor guide to where a unit sits today, and this page does not claim otherwise.
